Hello,
As the RAM of this recently bought product was said "extensible", and as I could notice after reception that a slot was available for a possible extension of the RAM, I decided to buy a unit of SODIMM 3200 MHz 8Go. But now, I'm very embarrassed : usually, I begin to remove the battery, but this time I don't see any means to open this damned notebook.
I'd want to know the process to settle in place this unit of RAM. Could somebody help me ?
Thanks in advance.
Regards and good night.

Hi, @cbaud2000
See if this service teardown video is of help to you...
Removing & Replacing Parts | HP 15-ef0000 Laptop PC | HP Computer Service | @HPSupport - YouTube
Here is the link to the 15-ef0xxx model series service manual:
Maintenance and Service Guide HP 15 Laptop PC
This is the only video and manual for the 15-ef model series.
There aren't any for the 15-ef2xxx model series.

Back to the good old days, I could access RAM, wifi card, HDD ... no longer than 2 minutes. Now this may take hours. Unfortunately no manuals from HP at this stage
Please use the following manual of a similar machine which shows you how to access to RAM slots

Thanks so much Paul : the video is perfectly explicit, and my PC is part of the series ef2xxx. Hence, following the video which uncovers the trick, I could remove the bottom cover and so get direct access to the two slots of RAM. Now I can enjoy the 16 Go RAM, that give actually more fluidity. That's great.
Again, I'm really grateful to you for your judicious advice.
Best regards.

Thanks a lot to you too Banhien, your link is quite useful, because I didn't found the "maintenance and service guide" when searching the HP Support site, only the "user manual" which provides barely basic information. In fact the "maintenance and service guide" is sufficient to learn the process allowing the replacement of parts.
Best regards and good night.
