OMEN 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-en1000 (2L1F2AV)

Hi,

Randomly, out of the blue, my Laptop's internal webcam stopped working and is constantly started giving me the "We can't find your camera error" as shown below. I've tried rebooting, resetting and repairing the camera app, and even full reset of my PC, but still this issue persists.

I noticed that the device does not pop up in the device manager menu. I also noticed that HP doesn't provide any webcam drivers in their driver download webpage of my Laptop. I've tried everything on the web, but still no use.

Please help!!

The driver is provided by the Windows  operating system.

From your description of what you have tried, the camera may have failed.

You can try running a Linux OS from a USB flash drive to see if the camera is working.

Have you used the HP PC Hardware Diagnostic UEFI utility to test the webcam?

Power on, immediately start tapping the F2 key and go to component tests, then webcam test.
