Hi I looking to upgrade my ram memory, i can find what type should i look for had it opened but it not saying if is ddr2 or ddr3 or ddr4, very confused now, even if i go to task mamager and under performance option is still not saying what ddr, it shouwing only 8gb, please see the attached picture from task manager ram memory. Could anyone help me please what type of ram should i get as i wanna do 2x8gb, many thanks

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

 

After reading your post, I did go through the Product specifications of your product and found that you have 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (2 x 4 GB) installed on the PC.

See the below table on Memory upgrade:
