The specs for both match the requirements : The answer is perhaps because they are not absolutely identical.. You would do yourself a favor by purchasing two of one or the other. At $18.00 per module  you can't really lose much if a mismatched pair does not work in dual channel mode.

i already have a SK hynix HMA851S6DJR6N-VK ram on my laptop my question is that can i add a  SK hynix HMA851S6CJR6N

ram on my second slot and use it as dual channel set up?
