Hi:

Yes, 2 x 4 GB of DDR2-5300 or DDR2-6400 memory will work, but it may be pretty expensive to find nowadays.

I have a HP 6910p (the next model up from yours) with the T7500 processor and I installed 2 x 4 GB of memory in it many years ago.

Works fine.

You're very welcome.

Yes, the notebook runs fine on W10.

I'm running W11 23H2 on mine, but it has to stop at that version because with W11 24H2 and on, Microsoft has introduced stricter processor requirements and my 6910p's Pentium T7500 processor does not meet the new requirements.

The oldest Intel processor that will work with the new W11 24H2 release is an Intel first generation core processor.

I have all of my PC's running W11 to continue getting Microsoft support for the OS past October of 2025 when they end support for W10.
