I wanted to upgrade RAM for my laptop 15-n208tu
At present I have 4 GB in one slot, I want to add 8GB in another slot, I learned from HP Support that I can add 8 GB and Maximum of total 12 GB is supported.
Present memory module 4GB, 1.35v, DDR3-1600 SODIMM memory module number is 691740-001
Dimension : 8.1 X 4.6 X 0.8 cm
Can any one hlep me to know the memory module number for 8GB with same speficifications to that of existing 4GB (1.35v, DDR3-1600 SODIMM)

Hi,
Even though the service manual states that 12GB is the max, your system will run with 16GB of DDR3L 1600Mhz RAM (2x8GB)
You can add another 8GB in the empty slot for a total of 12GB. You can buy RAM from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung...
So what you need is 8GB DDR3L 1600Mhz RAM.
The part number of the module by HP is 693374-001
Hope it helps,
David
