Hi @Euclid2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for sharing this, and I’m really sorry to hear about the repeated issues. I completely understand how frustrating it is to have your laptop repaired multiple times and still face the same overheating problem, especially when it’s still under warranty and not even a year old.

About refunds or replacements

Requests for a refund or unit replacement are not handled through the HP Community, as those decisions depend on:

  • Your country/region
  • Local consumer protection laws
  • HP’s regional warranty and escalation policies
  • The service history of your device (number of repairs, parts replaced, technician notes)

Because of this, only the HP regional support team that manages your warranty can review and approve a refund or replacement request.

What can we help with here?

While we cannot approve refunds from the community, we can:

  • Review the symptoms and suggest additional troubleshooting checks
  • Help you understand what to ask for when escalating your case

If you’d like help with troubleshooting or guidance on what to say when you contact HP support, feel free to share your model number and the overheating symptoms, and I’ll do my best to assist you.

I appreciate your patience, and I truly hope this gets resolved properly for you.

Take care and have an amazing day!
