Common problems for Battery
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about: Battery Reports, Hold a charge, Test and Calibrating Battery . Check out this link: Is your notebook plugged in and not charging?

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Should I remove my battery if it is at 100% and I plan to use the laptop for a prolonged time and I can keep it plugged?

When it reaches  100%, does the battery keep charging and discharging, or does the current go straight to the laptop?

The battery is smart and stops accepting a charge when it hits 100%. Laptop experts disagree over this subject more than any other. I am from the "don't overthink it" school. All you need to do with a laptop battery is keep the laptop plugged in when you can, use the battery when you must. Try not to let the charge level drop below about 15%. Other than that you are expending a great deal of effort to maybe get 1-2% additional life out of the battery and I have better things to do than worry about removing my laptop battery when it is going to be static for a long time. Enjoy.
