How to remove or uninstall old windows after new installation
I am using 64 bits and windows8 HP notebook#[edited]

Hi:

 

Run the disk cleanup utility.

 

Then after it gets to the window, click on the Clean up system files button on the lower left side of the window.

 

The disk cleanup utility will run again, and the window will appear.

 

Now you can check all the boxes to delete the files.

 

One of the boxes will be Previous Windows Installations (that is your old windows).

 

Then click the OK button, and the disk cleanup utility will delete all of the unnecessary files.

 

I recommend you defragment the hard drive after you do that.
