I have a ProBook 6560B laptop from Japan, it is possible to replace the keyboard from Japan keyboard hardware to US or UK keyboard hardware?

Hi,

Yes, it is possible. You will need to purchase one of the following keyboards:

part number 641179-001

Keyboard with pointing stick for use in HP ProBook 6560b models in the United States (includes keyboard and pointing stick cables)part number 641179-031

Keyboard with pointing stick for use in HP ProBook 6560b models in the United Kingdom (includeskeyboard and pointing stick cables)

part number 641180-001

Keyboard without pointing stick for use in HP ProBook 6560b models in the United States (includeskeyboard cable)

part number 641180-031

Keyboard without pointing stick for use in HP ProBook 6560b models in the United Kingdom (includeskeyboard cable

You can search online with the part number to find an original or compatible part

On page 92 of the service manual you can see the steps to replace the keyboard:

Hope it helps,

David
