Notebook no longer powers on, suspected power pushbutton problem but could not find replacement, ended up getting a new motherboard, upon start up after installation of new mother board, got message "Product information not valid"
Long story short, went to designated site (www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup; cannot find the "Contact Support" tab, only "Contact".
I have the commodity tracking (CT) number. what to do now?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, A new motherboard needs to be tattooed which is a unique code that can be written in the basic input/output system (BIOS) of a computer and this can be done only by the manufacturer.
As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.
I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
