yeah, hi i replaced my cmos with cr2032 from  maxwell, but after few days it is again showing to reset cmos error 502, current condition of my laoptop battery lost its full cycles, holds charge for max 40-50 min depending on usage, does it reflects cmos batttery aging ....

i dont know whether my actual battery reflects cmos life and sometimes after keeping it to sleep and my noteboot will automatically gets shutdown on its own and if i start it again - it shows cmos error, do i need to change the cmos battery again with some other company or do i need to get actuall new note battery ??

@cmouli Welcome to HP Forums Community!

I suggest resetting the CMOS using the below steps:

Turn off the device, unplug all external devices and the charger,

Hold Windows+V for 10 seconds, without releasing it, press the power button to turn on the device and reset CMOS in the process.

If the issue persists, please perform a test on the AC adapter: Click here for steps.

And also, test and calibrate the battery: Click here for steps
