replacement battery for HP Pavilion m6 laptop

I want to purchase a new battery for my HP Pavilion m6 laptop.

I bought it in august 2012 in India.

On the battery the name is written as "MO06 Notebook battery"

There is a barcode where it is written that "Replace with HP spare 671731-001".

HP part number is 671567-321.

I can't find this battery on HP store or any other e-commerce website.

Can someone please help me, where can I find this battery or suggest me another battery which may be compatible with my laptop

Hi,

From the service manual on page 48 we can see that there are two compatible batteries for your PC:

9-cell, 100-Wh, 3.0-Ah, Li-ion battery                                                 672412-001

6-cell, 62-Wh, 2.8-Ah, Li-ion battery                                                    671731-001

The first one will have more charge. We can search online with the product number to find compatible batteries
