My omen laptop was originally windows 10 , when windows 11 was offered I upgraded so now its windows 11 insider programme Beta channel. even though my processor is not supported for windows 11.HP support assistant has recently sent me a health alert that, my hard disk drive is failing. Can anyone advise me, if I replace my hard disk drive will it revert to windows 10 or will it remain windows 11 insider programme beta channel? Thanks

Hi:
If you replace the hard drive, you can clean install W11 by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the W11 ISO file and Rufus.
Select the 3rd option (ISO file download).
Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)
Use the free Rufus utility to transfer the ISO file to a USB flash drive so that it is bootable, set up Rufus menu the way the video shows.
Create A Windows 11 U.S.B. Installer For An Unsupported Device Using Rufus (youtube.com)
I've attached the version of the Rufus portable file I used below (v3.18), which I use to create a bootable W11 installer to use on PC's that don't support W11.

You're very welcome.
I've updated many HP and Dell notebook and desktop PCs to W11 using that method.
Most of them I just did in-place upgrades from W10>W11 using the Rufus drive by plugging it into the PC's USB port opening the PC in Windows explorer and double-clicking on the setup application that shows up in the list of files to do the in-place upgrade.
