Hi,

My HP envy 15''. laptop hinge broke all of a sudden. I have not dropped my computer there was no impact to cause this as I treat my computer very good and have had it for 2 years. I closed my laptop and a few minutes later when I opened it I heard a crack as I slowly opened it back up. I taped it up as best I could right when I saw the hinge break as little movement was causing the display to separate from the case. BOTH my sisters own the same computers and had this happen to theirs as well but the warranty just expired a few weeks ago so I can't get it fixed like they did. I've been leaving my computer open since I'm scared its going to worsen and break apart. Please help I use this for school.
