I hope you're well. I've lost a screw from my laptop's back panel. Could you please tell me what the correct screw size is ? The laptop model is DA9093D6-63BF-4FA7-97EE-BF22A01E2FB6. Your help is much appreciated. and also i need to know where to buy it from.

Hello.

That is not a laptop model. Press Fn+ESC or start msinfo32 program in Windows to see your laptop model. Post the Product Name and Product Number (or System SKU number in msinfo32) here.

Hello.

Thanks for your reply. The Maintenance and Service Guide for your model, page 37, states that all seven screws on the bottom cover are M2.0 x 5.0 screws. So the screw is 5.0 mm long and the thread part is 2.0 mm wide - whether the screw has a flat or sunk top is not mentioned, nor is the thread pitch. I recommend unscrewing another bottom cover screw and using it as a template to hunt for a spare screw.

The same Guide also lists a screw kit for your laptop model, part number N13333-001 which covers all screw types in your laptop. Somewhat excessive for your case but will contain the missing screw as well.

Laptop screws can come loose with the mechanical stress, this is not unusual. The M2.0x5.0 screw size is very common in laptops - not only HP - so you could just salvage a screw from a scrapped laptop.
