I cant get my laptop to see my sd card

That happens when the SD card fails or is locked.

 

You can try using a media card format utility to format it as FAT32.

Thank you. I have more than one sd card, & more than 1 hp pc. The sd card works in the older pc, but not in the newer. I suspect it’s the lack of a proper driver. Many others googled that they too suffer the same malfunction with their hp pc. Never the less, I appreciate your response. The subject pc is out of warrantee, & answers I receive from hp customer service are always the same, “we recommend you purchase a new hp pc.”
