Operating System: Chrome OS

I want to know the advisability of using sd card as main memory. will the apps still run from internal memory to maintain optimal speed? will getting a card that has read and right speed for 4k actually use that speed in every day operations. what is the optimal size for a card and what cards would you recommend? Thank you.

Some apps allow you to run from SD card. Please use the following setup
