I recently bought a m.2 2280 with 250 gigs to my laptop (which has slot for it) to add it to my laptop which has already 1 terabyte hdd.
my problem is that when I insert the m2 the laptop doesnt boot at all but when i plug it out it starts normally. so what could I do to solve this problem.

Hi:
If this is the drive you got, it is not supported because it is an NVMe drive.
https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Internal-Security-SA2000M8-250G/dp/B07VYG5HQD
I recommend you get this SATA M.2 SSD, which has the best performance for the price...

Hi:
What kind of M.2 drive did you install?
NVMe won't work, only SATA M.2 drives are supported as set forth in chapter 1 of the service manual.
