I have a Pavillion that came with1 TB HDD
I would like to install a PCIe drive, so it runs better but I wonder WHAT are the changes on BIOS (or any other settings) I need for it work?
(ideally i would like to move it all to pcie,
since the price for both PCIe and SATA SSDs is quite similar in my location)
Thanks in advance.

@musical-gal , welcome to the Community.
Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide for your notebook. Look at the section titled "Solid-state drive" for a list of compatible SSD's. You can buy one of those listed with the HP part # or buy another manufacturer's product. I like Samsung's SSD's because they seem to work best with the HP BIOS/UEFI. You should have to make any changes to the settings in the BIOS/UEFI.
Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will explain how to make the transition from a HDD to a SSD.
