i have inserted sim card but it is not sensing and no indication can u help me out solving this problem

Hi:

 

All HP ProBook 640 G8's have a SIM card slot.

 

What 90% of them don't have is the optional WWAN network adapter hardware that is needed to access the cellular service.

 

Does your HP ProBook 640 G8 have this hardware?  

 

If your notebook has the WWAN hardware installed, you will find this model WWAN adapter listed under the Network Adapters device manager category.

 

Intel® XMM™ 7360 LTE-Advanced (Cat9)

 

If you do not see that device, your notebook cannot connect to cellular service unless you purchase the adapter.
