volendo migliorare le prestazioni del notebook con un disco ssd, è necessario sostituire l'hard disk già presente o è possibile aggiungere  il nuovo disco ssd lasciando  il vecchio al suo posto?

Devi sostituire il disco presente nel notebook con un 2.5" SATA3 SSD come il Crucial MX500 o simile

Dovrei reinstallare il sistema operativo (puoi creare una penna USB prima di cambiare il disco)

potresti anche clonare il vecchio disco. Io preferisco una installazione pulita. In ogni caso puoi ordinare anche un filo USB a SATA cosi puoi utilizare il disco vecchio come un disco esterno e trasferire i file sul nuovo SSD.

Potresti anche aggiunger una stecca da 4GB di RAM (massimo fino a 16GB) per un totale di 8GB di RAM.
