HP Spectre x360 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 16-f2000 (74R50AV)

my previous spectre 360 13.5" system had usb-c power connection. my replacement 16" system instead has a bayonet power adapter.  Why the change?

And can the new 16" system also charge through the usb-c port?

Just for size alone the 16/17 inches machines are a lot bigger than 13/14 machine and they need more power too,  Your machine should have following specs

             https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/pdp/hp-spectre-x360-16-2-in-1-laptop-16t-f2000-74r53av-1#techSpecs

You can charge your machine using USB-C chargers with wattage rating around 90W or more

Regards.

Thanks.

So, one can charge through the usb-C ports, not only the bayonet socket - yes?

And the charging rate would vary depending on the power of the supply.

The previous smaller Spectre chargers and even a new 16" Envy are all 65 watt, so their usb chargers would work, just take longer to charge - yes?

Thanks!
