SPECTRE X360 13 - AW21XX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The CPU I use officially supports PCIE 4.0. However,

we are using a PCIE 4.0 SSD and cannot achieve normal speed.

Due to VMD/RST technology, normal speed does not come out.

I want to activate AHCI, but I can't. I wonder how I can achieve CPU performance.

The SSDs I replaced are SN850 and Samsung 980 PRO.

Have a good day.

AHCI is activated. The system can only run SATA in AHCI, and that has nothing to do with the NVME. Its PCIe gen 3, not 4. Not too many laptops yet use PCIe gen 4.

No, the SPECTRE X360 13-inch (i7-1165G7) model I am using does not have an AHCI controller installed.

NVME connected with Intel VMD/RST technology.

It is not possible to connect with AHCI because there is no SATA Control mode in the BIOS entry.

For your information, the Dell XPS 13-inch model released around the same time says it supports pcie 3.0, but pcie 4.0.

I hope the improved BIOS will be released as soon as possible.

pcie 4.0 is not required if selection is required. But I hope AHCI will be activated.
Can't we solve it?

Thank you. Have a nice day.
