Hello everyone!
I'd have a 15-bs514nl laptop (hp system information says: bs0xx ) and i'd like to upgrade my 1T hdd hard disk (which it's the standard equipement) to a 500GB ssd.
I'd like to know if i can replace the the Hdd with one ssd with NVMe technology instead of Sata III.
Thanks for your attention!

Sorry on that model you can only use a SATA-III M.2 disk. See p. 3 of the Service Manual here:
M.2 slot location-black square-screw is circled
The Manual does not discuss how to install an M.2 in its own dedicated slot but the pictures above show where the slot is located.
Although an NVME disk is the best obviously a SATA-III M.2 is still very fast and a huge upgrade over a hard drive.
The M.2 is something you can ADD to the existing hard drive but you could also install a 2.5 inch SATA-III SSD which would be INSTEAD OF the hard drive. M.2 SATA-III and 2.5 inch SATA SSD cost about the same per gig and perform about the same.
Post back with any other questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
