Hello, i wanted to upgrade my pc with a m2 ssd but it is not recognized by my pc.
It does not appear in disk management. I updated my bios but it didn't change anything.
My pc is a Pavilion 14-bk003nf
I got a PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 SSD
I also tried to connect the ssd to another pc and it worked just fine.

You're very welcome.
The drive capacities listed in the service manual are just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.
If you want to install a 1 To or 2 To SATA M.2 SSD, that would be fine.
The 'TLC' and 'Value' are the performance specs of the drives HP offered.
TLC should provide better performance than the 'Value' SSD.
Here a definition of what Triple Layer Cell means.
Multi-Layer SSDs: What Are SLC, MLC, TLC, QLC, and PLC? (howtogeek.com)
The WD Blue is probably the fastest M.2 SATA SSD in the market.

Hi:
According to chapter 1, page 2 of the service manual, only M.2 SATA SSD's are supported, not NVMe.
That is why your PC does not recognize the NVMe SSD you installed.
If you want to install a M.2 SSD, you need one like this:

First, thanks for your reply 🙂
When i read the page you mentioned in the manual, it says it only supports up to 512gb of m2 ssd though ?
Also, i'm pretty confused, what are tlc and value in "M.2 SATA-3 configurations" ?
