You have to install Windows on the SSD.
Did you try that?
Windows will not find the drive on PC's with Intel 13th gen core processors unless you load the Intel storage controller drivers at the point where Windows cannot find any drives.
I have zipped up and attached the Intel storage controller drivers you need, below.
Unzip and copy all of the files in the folder in the attachment to a USB flash drive.
Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.
Boot from the Windows installation flash drive.
When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.
If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.
If Windows still can't find the drive, uncheck the box to include the compatible driver and try any of the ones listed.

If you have removed the SSD you bought and put the original one back in, you can use the HP cloud recovery tool to make a bootable USB recovery drive that will return the drive to its 'out of the box' condition.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.
HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool in Windows 11 and 10 | HP® Support
You can download the software from the Microsoft Store:
HP Cloud Recovery Tool - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store
Then you can try installing the Crucial drive you bought and see if the cloud recovery tool installs the factory image on the new drive.
If you still have the non-working drive installed, you will have to use another Windows PC to either use the cloud recovery tool or make a bootable W11 USB installation flash drive with the media creation tool.

Hey thank you for the help i figured it out but now for some reason the SSD is extremely slow the write speed is really low from what it should be and it takes forever to just launch something. It took me at least 5 minutes to just get to this page everything takes at least 20 seconds to open after i open it, my 500gb SSD was better than this. Please let me know what's wrong if i installed it incorrectly or something like that.
