Microsoft Windows 11

Hi guys, I have a question to ask you, I mounted on my new laptop, not even a month old. HP 15s fq5020na, a crucial T500 Pro 4 gen nvme ssd. 1 TB with reading speeds of up to 7500 MB-s and writing speeds of 7300 MB-s. I did the test on w11 and found that it reaches 3600 mb-s reading and 3300 mb-s writing. I am disappointed by these very low figures. Could you give me an explanation of these very low speeds? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Yes, the max speeds for gen 3 is about 3500 MB/s.

On a gen4 socket the SSD will reach the higher speeds.

Hope it helps,

David

Hi Lamare,

Do you think the problem is the Pcl x3 and which therefore does not make the most of the potential of the SSD because it is 4th gen?
