I want to use two slots together for ssd. What should be the max storage capacity?

Thank you in advance for your interest.

Your notebook has support for one 2.5" drive and one M.2 NVMe SSD.

It does not have two NVMe SSD slots.

The PCIe slot generation is 3.0.

A Gen 4.0 SSD will work but it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from the Gen 3 slot.

Theoretically, the sky's the limit as far as NVMe storage capacity as long as the drive is single-sided so that it fits in the slot.

The Crucial SSD report for your notebook's mode series shows that they sell NVMe SSD's up to 4 TB in storage capacity.

HP only has the service manual for the older 15-da0xxx/1xxx model series available:

Can I use 2tb 5400 sata3 ssd with 1tb m2? Thank you in advance for your interest.

You're very welcome.

You can use the 2 TB SATA drive for storage only.

You can't have Windows on the 2.5" drive or it will only want to boot from that drive first and not the NVMe SSD.
