If I upgraded it, I would remove the legacy HDD and install a Crucial P3 1TB PCIe M.2 2280 SSD.
The Crucial CT500P3SSD8 will work, but its storage capacity at 500GB is really lacking.

The image you provided show an M.2 SSD slot.
Yes. A PCIe NVMe 2280 single sided SSD will work.

I see both Crucial P3 , Crucial P3 Plus 500GB are in the same price.
1.Can i go for = > Crucial P3 Plus 500GB ,Will my Laptop support that ?
Crucial P3 500GB PCIe 3.0 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD, up to 3500MB/s - CT500P3SSD8
Crucial P3 Plus 500GB PCIe 4.0 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD, up to 4700MB/s - CT500P3PSSD8
2. Will my model laptop accept M or B key edge connector ? I saw a video B&M connector also used in this model laptop
