Hi:

Your notebook's M.2 slot supports NVMe Gen 3 SSD's.

A Gen 4 SSD will work too, but only at the max speed allowed by the PCIe Gen 3 slot.

You're very welcome.

There is no way to check to see if the M.2 slot is present by running a utility.  Those are often unreliable.

If you look at chapter 1 of the Maintenance and Service Guide on your notebook's support page, it shows that notebooks with the Intel core processors have M.2 slots that support NVMe SSD's.

You'll have to take the manual's word for it.

As far as the PCIe slot generation, that is easy to confirm.

Look up the specs for your notebook's processor, since it is an integral part of the motherboard.

That means whatever info pertains to the processor, that info applies to the chipset/motherboard as well.

Intel® Core™ i7-1065G7 Processor

Under the expansion options section it indicates the PCIe version is 3.0.
