thanks for the info --- as it turns out if I use  hp.com and   manually  specify  

 

HP ProBook 455 G4

Hello --- It looks like HP really  messed up on this one -- as it turns out my  brother-in-law also  bought the same laptop too -- about  a week apart.  I was helping him with an issue -- were user using quickassist and  his  Probook too thinks it is 

 

HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2

 

The suport assistent  when  selectint the "manual"   option, it runs the  browser to  HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2

 

How can HP make such a big  error and mess up an entire class of laptops?
