hp probook 6465b
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i have a probook 6465b laptop and it does not have the fingerprint scanner nor the drivers for it.  my question is can i get a hp probook 6570b mother board and install it in this laptop so i can get the fingerprint sensor i now have to work? or won't a 6470b motherboard fit onto the 6465b? they both look the same to me but i have not tried taking the mother boards out and swapping them.

or might i be able to get a 6465b motherboard that may already have the finger print sensor and just install that one?  i got 2 finger print sensors the same pert number that the 6465b parts list says should be in this laptop but neither one would work

so i  put them in temp on the 6470b machine an they both work so i know the sensors work, i just do not seem to be able to get them to work on this 6465b machine.

so getting another ebay mother board might just be the solution!

thanks

@corvairbob

They use different CPU types 6470b  is for Intel and 6465b is for AMD. Do you wish to swap everything ?
