Yes, I agree. I do have a laptop which is the older spectrum x360. It's literary says that they have to thunderbolt plug and it works with my LG Ultrafine 5K screen which should only use on newer MacBook. There is a lot of device of HP should able to use Thunderbolt 3 port, I don't know why they said they have no laptop allows to use thunderbolt because I do have one, and it does work.

Hi, sorry to disturb you, but here is the thing. The Thunderbolt 3 and the USB-C which patented by Intel does have a lot of difference especially when you have a type - C/thunderbolt screen and eGPU. For example, Asus did give a solution on their website which can buy a new small box and added on their desktop so that their products can adaptation all the Thunderbolt devices. For my problem, I have an LG Ultrafine display (sadly I broke my HP monitor) and it only works with Thunderbolt port. I think my omen desktop does have two type-c port and it will be same as the port on my hp laptop but it isn't. Only my HP laptop can work with the thunderbolt screen. I request/hope HP can give us a solution like Asus so that we can access to add another thunderbolt port on the desktop.
