I'm trying to find the 256 m.2 ssd drive ( hoping to recover data) but can see nothing like the pictures look like. What might I be looking for?

Many thanks

Hi:

The illustration in chapter 5 on page 42 of the service manual shows where the M.2 SSD is located.

The illustration shows the battery has been removed, and the SSD is just above and parallel to where the battery would go, and it is to the right of the memory chips and to the left of the fan.

Thank you Paul.

We found the card this morning on the desk. We must have taken the board to pieces and put it to one side as initially we were looking for a hard drive.

We've ordered a reader so we'll see what we can find on there.

All the best

Harry
