Have you tried updating the touchpad driver in the device manager? There might be an update available for the touchpad. That should be able to fix the problem.

Can you give me more information about the challenge you are facing for better context? I know the touchpad gesture is not working but is there something it is affecting on the laptop, is the cursor disappearing. Information like this will make it easier to know how to address the issue.
