touchpad gestures like scrolling and others had stopped working after installing an update from HP Support Assistant. I had checked with enabling the touchapad gestures but could not find it. And checked and installed the windows updates and there is any change and touchpad gestures were not working. Please help me out to get it recovered.

A warm welcome to HP Support Community!

I believe we can enable gesture controls from the Touchpad settings. Here is how to do it:

Please ensure that the notebook has the latest touchpad driver installed. If you are unsure, you can download and install the latest touchpad driver from here.

1.) In Windows, search for and open Touchpad settings.

2.) Make sure that Pinch to zoom, Drag two fingers to scroll , Three-finger and Four-finger gestures are enabled.

If they are enabled and the gesture function is still not working then click Reset below Reset your touchpad.

Let me know how it goes!
