i have a usb c dock g5 that i want to connect with my hp 15 laptop using windows 11. problem is hooking up 2 monitors as the usbc/usbss port does not recognize or will not detect when plugged in. Is there some type of adapter i can buy?

The USB-C port is data only so it carries no video signal. A simple dock with a passthrough video system will not work. You need a special kind of dock with DisplayLink hardware to support external video.

These kind of docks cost a bit more than simple ones because they have a chip inside that creates a video signal for a USB connection. Works on USB-C or USB 3.
