just got a replacement battery (PX03XL) for my 2013 HP ENVY Sleekbook with AMD A10-5745m processor and is not being detected. before i make any returns i am trying to figure out if i need to update BIOS to maybe fix the detection issue. only issue is i can't find anything for this computer even on third-party websites, and HP certainly doesn't have anything on their website as this laptop is considered outdated. HP Support Assistant didn't help with anything either.

Not very likely a BIOS update would result in the battery being detected. Where did you get the battery? Is it genuine HP? If not, was it sold as compatible with the HP part number of the battery? If we had the model number we could help better.
