I use my usb c port for my wireless headphones, so I keep it plugged in unless it's in a bag or if the laptop is off, yesterday I had it plugged in and the USB c port was working properly without issues and then suddenly it stopped working, not giving electricity or data, I thought it was a software issue so I restarted my laptop, reset my drivers, updated them, and even installed Nvidia drivers and nothing worked, I tried checking forums, here on the HP official website, on Reddit and youtube, but still nothing worked, could it be a hardware issue or is it a software one? I have the laptop on forced shut down right now. I have an HP omen 15 (rtx 2070 super one) and it's been functioning very well until now. Please help.

After checking chat gpt, I loaded into bios and plugged in a type c connector and it started working perfectly as before
