Googling re can i charge my HP victus 15 from a portable power bank via usb - they all say yes. And yet i cannot. I have goal zero sherpa with a 100w usb-c out, no go to the hp victus usb c in. 

 

I rang HP and they said no, this laptop cannot be charged via USB c - so that is different to everything that comes up on google when i check forums and questions before buying. 

 

I have some long flights coming up, and i cannot see a way to charge it via the largest powerbanks allowed on planes. I am thinking i have made a big mistake buying HP. Can anyone help with a solution? (HP couldnt when i called them).
