Hello!!
i want to ask if is possible to unlock Vram on HP laptop
Mine is locked at 256mb, i am not 100% sure but i think it has capacity of 1000mb, i saw it in some point of my efford to change it.
i recently change my ram from 4gb to 8gb (4+4) bcz it was always on the limit, and know the only think is on the limit is my Vram. I cant play some games i want and there is always a lot of Fps drops. From my small experience i know you can change it from the bios. At least i saw many doing it on youtube.
I dont play with bios so i try it to change it from the regidit. Although it ''changed'' on regedit and system information it didnt really changed. Some said that you cant change Vram lock on HP laptops and others that there is no point to do it bcz its using Vram from Ram already (Dynamic Vram).
So my question is, should i get a technician change it from the bios, is it possible and is it going to help me with the gaming stafs?

Integrated video does not have room for keep VRAM, it relies on System. System will work this out and allocate/assign spare/available system RAM to VRAM automatically when required up to max limit. System will also take VRAM back when required. During the good old days, we could do this from BIOS but now OS is smarter.

Thanks for replying!!
I made some research but as i said i dont understand much.
So i wll make a direct question to ask if i take more ram, from 8gb to 12 or 16 does it helps to allocate more Vram?
I have
AMD radeon (TM) vega 3 graphics
