I have a HP labtop 14" -cb112wm can i up grade ton 8 mb Ram it has 4mb of ram slot installed

Hi,

The RAM in your notebook is integrated on the motherboard (onboard), so it is not possible to upgrade as there is no actual slot.

So, no, it is not possible.
