@bobiacono

What EXACTLY is your Pavilion 15 gaming laptop ec2008  ? You can't increase voltage of RAM from 1.2V to 1.35V, that is impossible.

Regards.

I may have made a bad assumption as the RAM i bought from Crucial is a 16GB kit of 2 sodimm 3200Mhz 1.35v and when i replaced the original Kingston 8Gb kit of 2 sodimm 3200Mhz, I only see the new RAM as 2666Mhz V1.2

My question is why only 2666Mhz as the RAM is on the list of compatible RAM parts for upgrade??? and how and where can i tweak any setting to make it 3200Mhz?
