Can i upgrade SSD +HDD

Yes, you can have dual storage with M.2 SSD and normal 2.5" HDD (or 2.5" SSD). Your machine currently has 1TB 5400RPM HDD, you can ADD M.2 SSD using following compatible products (and more):

 

     https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/pavilion-15-cs1000tx/CT13392412

     https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/pavilion-15-cs1000tx/CT13392393

 

My suggestion:

 

(a) Clone existing HDD to M.2 SSD,

(b) Remove HDD an run with M.2 SSD only,

(c) After few days or 1 week, format old HDD and put it back for storage.
