Hi. I would like to clarify information that I could not find either in the instructions or on the official website. How many RAM slots does this laptop have(according to aida64-2 slots, according to HP - 1 utilities)? What type of RAM is used (sodimm ddr-3, ddr-4, what frequencies, timings)? what is the maximum amount of memory I can set(according to aida64 - 16gb, according to HP utilities-no information)? I would also like to clarify if an M. 2 500 gb HP S700 SSD [2LU80AA # ABB] is suitable? I sincerely hope for your support.

Your notebook has two memory slots and can take a maximum of 2 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.

Below is the link to the service manual.  Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.

The DDR4 memory spec for Intel 5th gen core processors is incorrect.

All notebooks with Intel 5th gen core processors use DDR3L-1600 memory, not DDR4.

К сожалению, данное руководство недоступно на русском языке (только на английском), поэтому я не смог найти эту информацию initially.It это действительно и очень странно, но на странице 2, Глава 1, спецификация памяти ddr4 для процессоров Intel core 5-го поколения неверна. Мой ноутбук имеет процессор Core I3 Mobile DualCore Intel Core i3-5005U, 2000 МГц (20 x 100), я понимаю, что мой ноутбук может поддерживать только DDR3L-1600. Пожалуйста, укажите следующую информацию: могу ли я установить 8 ГБ SODIMM Apacer [DS.08G2K. KAM] memory в дополнение к установленной памяти a-Data ao1l16bc4r1-BX7S DDR3-1600 (800 МГц), чтобы получить в общей сложности 12 ГБ оперативной памяти? Yes, I had explained that the DDR4 memory info in the manual was incorrect.

I recommend that you get this memory part number if you can get it in Russia because it is listed as compatible with your notebook's model series.

You can add an 8 GB memory bar to the 4 GB memory bar and have 12 GB, but the memory will only run in single channel mode like it is now.   In order for the memory to run in the higher performing dual channel mode, you have to install the memory in matching capacities (2 x 4 GB, 2 x 8 GB).

You would have to open up your notebook first and check to see if it has a M.2 slot, because I think only the notebooks that come with the Intel 7th and 8th gen processors have M.2 slots.

If your notebook does have an M.2 slot, it will only support a SATA M.2 SSD, not NVMe.
