Product: HP-15-bs011ds
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can I upgrade the RAM of my HP-15-bs011ds to anything above 8 GB?  I now have 4 GB.  If so, please suggest how.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  I am new to this...

It only has 1 slot for RAM and supports 8GB max. You can replace 4GB with 8GB using following RAM
