Product: HP Pavilion 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-ec2000 (2P6B3AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
I want to upgrade the RAM in my HP Pavilion Gamer 15ec2008ca. I currently have 2 RAM sticks of 4GB each. Should I upgrade both RAM sticks to 8GB or just one of them?

Its specs
https://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c07633593
It has 8 GB DDR4-3200 MHz RAM (2 x 4 GB) now and supports 32GB max. To get full benefit of dual channels architecture, we install same RAM on BOTH slots. You can replace just one slot. RAM sticks are very cheap now you can use compatible RAM to upgrade:
- To 16GB : Crucial 16GB (2x8GB) kit or
- To 32GB: Crucial 32GB (2x16GB) kit
Regards.
