I want to upgrade SSD on my HP  17-ca0012ur laptop. So i wanted to know the type of SSD my laptop is compatible with. And kindly suggest some SSDs.

Hi:

 

Your notebook only supports SATA SSD's not NVMe.

 

Only the models with the Ryzen processors support NVMe SSD's.

 

I don't know what storage capacity you are wanting to upgrade to, but I recommend the WD Blue SATA SSD series.

 

That drive has the best performance for the price, in my opinion.

 

This is the 500 GB model for example...
