You're very welcome.

HP must have installed a newer motherboard in your notebook then when the service manual was published.

The way I interpret it, the processor your notebook has is slightly better in some ways than the best one listed in the manual.

Here is a side-by-side comparison of the two processors:

Intel® Product Specification Comparison

I would consider it rather a waste of time and money trying to install the motherboard which has the i7-6500U for the slightly better processor base frequency it has over your notebook's processor.

Hi:

Unfortunately, it is not possible to upgrade the CPU since it is an integral part of the motherboard.

All Intel processors starting with the 5th generation core processors are all integral parts of the motherboard.

According to chapter 3 of the service manual, you already have a motherboard with the best processor HP offered in the model series, so the answer there is no way to upgrade that model with a better processor.

The motherboard with the processor your notebook has isn't even listed in the service manual.
